About Miguel Diaz
Miguel Diaz spent a decade on Team Canada. That is ten years on the national taekwondo team. He is a 5x National Champion and a 3x Canadian Male MVP. He competed across more than 21 countries, and he represented Canada at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima.
He served in the Canadian Armed Forces. He also represented Canada at the World Military Championships.
He co-founded his first business at 19. It was a martial arts brand with 3 locations in the Greater Toronto Area.
He built a career in sales. He sold door to door and business to business. He sold telecommunications, internet, point-of-sale software, and hospitality and entertainment installs. At 23 he moved into fintech sales.
One sale changed how he saw the work. He sold a system to a restaurant. Then he trained the staff and made sure it worked. That is where the change management idea came from.
Today Miguel is the Founder and CEO of Staffly Technologies. The firm builds departments, and it runs on the idea he learned as an athlete. Performance is a system, not a personality trait.
